Time-critical tasks implementation in MEC based multi-robot cooperation systems

Mobile edge computing (MEC) deployment in a multi-robot cooperation (MRC) system is an effective way to accomplish the tasks terms of energy consumption and implementation latency. However, computation communication resources need be considered jointly fully exploit advantages brought by MEC technology. In this paper, scenario where multi robots cooperate time-critical studied, intelligent master robot (MR) acts as server provide services multiple slave (SRs) SRs are responsible for environment sensing data collection. To save prolong function time system, two schemes proposed optimize resources, respectively. first scheme, minimized balanced while guaranteeing that accomplished under constraint. second not only consumption, but also remaining energies enhance robustness system. Through analysis numerical simulations, we demonstrate even though policy may guarantee minimization on total SRs' MRC scheme longer than one.
